AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): President Rouhani expressed condolences over the passing of the late Jamshid Mashayekhi, the pioneer artist and distinguished figure of culture and art of Iran and wished patience for his family.
President Hassan Rouhani’s message is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful
We are all from Allah and to Him we shall return
The passing of the late Jamshid Mashayekhi, the pioneer artist and distinguished figure of culture and art of our country caused great grief and sorrow.
This distinguished artist of cinema, theatre and television played different, valuable roles and had creative, ethical participation in social activities.
His kindness was acknowledged by people and he was an excellent roll model for our country’s artists, especially the younger ones.
I hereby appreciate his lifelong cultural and artistic services, and offer my condolences to his family and the community of artists and pray for him.
